It is important to take a moment to celebrate our success this year with Artisan Home Tour. We had an outstanding event that brought qualified buyers to tour our homes. We’ll be building on that success as we plan the third annual tour, with enhancements and new opportunities already in the works.
A Growing Success
Average home visits grew by 30% over our first year; and our top home saw a 49% increase in attendance. Perhaps most importantly, we know that we delivered attendees of the highest quality to our participating builders. We’ve heard from several builders that through their participation this year, they’ve already lined up projects.
Great Public and Industry Relations
The Artisan brand continues to grow with extensive advertising, strong public relations, great retail partners in Bachman’s and Patina, our magazine partner Artful Living and wonderful builders. Our Public Relations was outstanding this year with more than a dozen separate stories on Twin Cities’ media outlets. The Artisan program went directly into the homes of more than 80,000 qualified high-household-income buyers, providing precision exposure for your business. Our post-event LookBook this fall will enjoy powerful targeted distribution as well.
Using Technology to Improve the Product
We also saw the power of technology in providing our attendees with a mapping and information app, and tracking accurately the number of visits to each home. Our Artisan Home Tour website generated more than 27,000 unique visits in just the three weeks of the tour. In addition, we exploded on Facebook with our Tour. Technology will play an increasingly important role in our tour – watch for enhancements in 2016.
Supporting our BATC Foundation
Your participation in the Artisan Home Tour helps those in need of assistance in finding their home. Our tour contributes a substantial portion of ticket revenues to the BATC Foundation, which builds and remodels homes for those less fortunate.

Wrap-up and Kickoff Coming Shortly
The Artisan Home Tour is developed by our builders and remodelers and is an important event in support of BATC, which is working year-round to serve this industry. We already have several enhancements in the works for 2016 based on conversations with builders, including a strengthening of the entry criteria and enhanced technology for the tour.
